Ryan & Isaac
Ryan & Isaac

Our Story

We met in Los Angeles on a Sunday night almost seven years ago. That unexpected evening would transform our lives. We soon found a home within every conversation. Every moment we learned more about each other. Our first year together we realized something was happening, something more than a chance encounter. We fell in love and became each others' best friends. We spent our weekends hiking, camping and traveling to wineries around California. And just over a year later, Ryan was offered a fantastic job in NYC, so we packed up our things and moved across the country.

Thankfully, there were plenty of opportunities for Isaac in New York as well, and he began his career as a television news producer. Then, on May 11, 2008, Ryan woke up early and made breakfast, but this time a small box sat next to the pile of pancakes and cup of coffee. An early Sunday morning became the day we were engaged. And the following Friday, as we celebrated over a 5-course dinner, Isaac got down on one knee and offered his love and a matching engagement ring.

Months later a little sassy puppy named Betty licked her way into our hearts, making the two of us an inseparable three. A few years later, we decided to buy a home together in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where we also found some amazing new freinds, that quickly became our second family.

Now, on May 11 2013, we would love for you to celebrate our five-year engagement by witnessing us wed in New York City.

Where to Stay

New York is a taxi-and-subway city. Staying in Brooklyn is recommended due to travel and venue location. However, if you don't mind hopping in a cab or adventuring through the whimiscal subways of NYC, please splurge on a Manhattan room and really live it up girlfriend! Remember, you're worth it.
